An existing customer of our approach us to assist them to interact electrically with their customers using Electrical Data Interchange (EDI). Being an online retailer they were finding managing their larger customers using manual processes becoming extremely laborious and in-efficient.
EDI for a small business can be very complex and potentially costly, but can also provide them with huge advantages to the flow of data between customers and suppliers. Some larger retailer chains will only interact electronically , so small businesses are being forced down this path.
Brightwell Consulting provided a tailored approach to the solution, working closely with a large retail chain to define and agree the EDI mechanisms. Development and Testing was performed using rapid development techniques, and utilised existing code that was previously delivered for other clients.
The EDI Solution now provides timely delivery of data between the customer and it’s customer, giving business advantage.
